About Us

Your Child Is in Great Hands

Happy Children

Philosophy

At Essential Christian Academy we believe the best atmosphere for learning is one of acceptance, encouragement, mutual respect, fairness, consistency, and enjoyment – learning should be fun!

We know a predictable, organized environment with caring adults, clear expectations and appropriate consequences supports the whole child. Since early childhood development is a process that is continually changing and expanding, our children are offered structured and unstructured opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and discover. Children are presented with age-appropriate activities to foster their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth and development. Our teachers are taught to view the outdoor play environment as an extension of the classroom filled with endless opportunities to lead absorbing young minds to new discoveries. The mission of our center is not to “babysit” your children but we see ourselves as your partner in early childhood education, helping you lay a solid foundation.

We consider the family as an integral part of our program and have instituted a system of daily communication to facilitate our partnership.

We believe wholeheartedly that as we empower young minds, we strengthen families. We  welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the child care industry.

Health & Safety

The safety of our students, their families

and our staff is our top priority.

To reduce the spread and impact of COVID-19, we continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

We are staying in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure we are taking the appropriate steps under the current circumstances, including:

• Enhanced infection control precautions, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, increasing the availability of hand sanitizer, and more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces.

• Screening parents, family members and staff for COVID-19 symptoms, as well as anyone else who must enter our facility. Only staff and volunteers who must enter the building will be permitted entry.

• Testing staff  for the virus causing COVID-19 based on current protocols and availability of tests.

• Providing and requiring facemasks for all staff to wear.

• Requiring all others entering the facility to wear face coverings to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We encourage you to review the CDC website for information about COVID-19, including its symptoms, how it spreads, and actions you can take to protect your health: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html.

Additional information about coping with stress can be found on the CDC website:
